Due to the projected severe weather related to Tropical Storm Gordon, Wednesday’s The Geography of Innovation: The BioMedical District Conference and related events will be postponed.

The “sold out” event was scheduled to take place at the Louisiana Cancer Research Center beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 5. Participating organizations will communicate to attendees through social media, website notifications and Eventbrite (the platform used to RSVP for the free event).

We encourage all residents to be mindful of the guidance from Mayor Cantrell, @nolaready, and the National Weather Service to ensure you and your family are prepared and safe should a storm impact our area.
